aargh more shit music, and wtf is up with the dodgy eye logo, illumanazi spy engine?
"It looks like a total piece of shit. "
I'm not gonna say the graphics look like shit, its the only thing good about it.. its everything else about it that screams out how boring and same old it really is. It's like they are still going on about the power suit as some sort of innovative thing Zzzzz ... seriously I'd have more fun setting up a defense with a bunch turrents to hold off an attack. Something actually challenging that might take more than one attempt to get right.. not same old linear shoot kill, move to point B. I mean its reminding me of consolized FEAR2 this game especially the weapons and effects on enemies. Some RPG element like STALKER would have been better, but meh they've done the easier thing.
"There's only one enemy!? WTF!?""
yeah looks incredibly boring, ragdoll physic kills don't really stand out with enemies that bulky they also don't seem to be a tactical AI challenge either, fuck it they don't even get dismembered. Hardly a great engine, and no vehicles (not that the environment lends itself well for that sort of gameplay, and if it were anything like FEAR2 mech crap it would be disappointing anyway).. I'm predicting half half 2 is still way better than this.
Also New york in rubble's for Crysis2 -alien invasion
and Mass effect 3 has London in rubble's -alien invasion
they hire the same script writers? ZZzzzz
I'd have more fun playing as the aliens actually, seeing how fast I can flatten a financial district of greedy control freaking scumbags. |

I mean about how the game looks in general. Like gameplay, physics, AI. The visuals looks OK, nothing we havent already saw. At least on PC. |

Well, the first game was just eyecandy in my opinion, the rest of it outright sucked, a game needs to be more then just eyecandy, it has to be fun to play and it wasn't fun to play at all.
FPS games are not meant to be that open, thats what RPGs are for.
Overall, not going to waste my money on this one. |

Not agree. I really like Crysis and Warhead even more. It was more than eye candy and the escenarios were big, yes, but linear after all. So nothing wrong with that IMO. The suit gives you choices on how you want to play the game. But only if you play in Delta. Otherwise is just to easy and the suit doesnt shine. |

damn, same ol' same ol' again.
FPS? id. makes them, raven makes them. Quake 4 and Prey come to mind. Now those are some good FPS games. (my opinion) Don't remember seeing anything as good lately. Modern Warfare perhaps, it's a good game.
Crysis 2? Why not. I'll play it...maybe even finish it.
as far as "one enemy" goes, well, gamepad pushed compromises no doubt about that.
besides, they tell us it's great, we must obey. Must preorder...Must preorder...Must preorder...Must preorder...braiiin.....braaaiiin....brraaaiiinnn.... |

| It's actually looking breathtaking while being something shallow/braindead overall as a uhm game. That's what we call the Paris Hiltonization of today's gaming industry, the only difference, you actually "can" have fun with Paris. |

Crysis was never a good game. There is some basic gameplay and story - nothing more to it...
This game has one main purpose!!! - and it is to sell the Crytek game engine!
And this game does the job well - obviously!
So, anyone that eats this "sophisticated gameplay" really need to open his eyes. The gameplay is simple, the suit doesnt give you any more options.
I remember playing Crysis with only two modes switched most of the time.
Straght and armor... you know, to jump higher ground and to have the ability to go and grab the enemy for his throat...
Invisibility ? Tactics? wtf.... this is no Thief... |

So, I wouldn't say that crysis sells cryengine very well |

Cryengine 2 works for other stuff, not only games. They had sell it to universities and architectural companies. |

AFAIK, universities get it for free if engine is used for learning and non-profit stuff.
I don't about architectural companies. ArchiCad/Autocad is a LOT cheaper then a million dollar CryEngine, but I guess it might be possible that someone uses it for demonstration purposes since the engine it self lacks modeling and general tools used in project designs. |

It is used to shows how the final project will look. Enodo is one of them: http://www.enodo.fr/content/Home-page/home_pageFR.php |

It looks pretty good to me, and most FPS have one enemy its just that normally its a human.
I will buy this just to see if I can overheat my mid range PC playing it. |
