there are, but that aside, even if there weren't, stroke it can be customized globally and/or for individual apps. What I'm saying is you can have gestures in notepad as well as in firefox and have them off in photoshop obviously
If I'd to gesture with kintetic thing, I would probably turn over half my room, break many stuff, including the kinetic (I get frustrated sometimes ) |

yeah I'm a longtime user of strokeit, its a windows power user essential.
however I have it disabled for firefox.. Firegesture offers better customizable functionality built in, including custom scripts.. can't do that through using strokeit, neither can you get rocker/wheel gestures.. so not much point in it being enabled for that browser.
as for kinetic gestures.. well I suppose if I inhereted a kenetic device you can bet I'd use it for gesturing on PC, its a no brainer. However this MIT effort of making an app that is useful as strokeit is pretty damn poor for an entire team. They should have designed it for controlling music apps like winamp running in the background.. left hand gesture flicks for skipping tracks,play/pause, dubbing forward 5/10 sec etc..(while right hand rests on mouse, that's multitasking ) way more useful than shitty spastic browsing gesturing.. can do that shit with a mouse+mousewheel +gesturing far quicker.
.. anyway its still not got enough thoroughly developed third party tools to warrant an overpriced purchase for what it is. |

i'd bet you'd kill people with it...
as for firefox, i use firegestures, disabled stroke it for firefox, anyway, it's a choice, and it's free. That's my point.
I see myself cracking beer bottles all over the place with kinetic...I see my friends cracking even more... |
