Yuplay.com has now released the PC downloadable version for Apache: Air Assault (+patch),
the modern military helicopter sim game from developer Gaijin
Entertainment for $49.99 The PC port is apparently an exclusive to
Yuplay.com at the moment. The console versions were release via

I have been playing the demo of this game on my PS3 and I like it a lot apart from the fact that you can't remap the controls. I assume this is the case with the full version too. Also the PS3 version runs at poo-poo 720P...So very happy to see this come to PC.  |

I would think you can remap the controls on the PC version.
If anybody knows for sure one way or the other I'd like to know.
I almost bought it for the 360 but read about a sound bug that most people get requiring you to restart the whole system to fix. Apparently on the PC version you can only play the online co-op (13 separate co-op missions) through the yuplay servers which kinda sucks.
I guess I'll just buy whichever one hits $30 first... |

| just fire up jane's Longbow2. The king of chopper sims. Lock-up targets the real way, via the mfd's. Also go white/black hot. laser and fire radar hellfires. Air Assault is poor in comparrison. |

ah i wish i could still plug in my thrustmaster flcs and tqs.
i loved TFX, EF2000, Ah64d and longbow 2.
you could even buy a mok up cockpit from thrustmaster back then. |

TFX,EF2000 v2,Wargasm,TAW,EAWJane's F15 and Joint Strike Fighter to name but a few. Amazing days indeed, using Roger Wilko voice comms, if i remember right? I have them all and more (Flying Corps) on my old legacy machines. look shit on modern flat panels!! Bloody IIyama 17" packed in after 13years, Haven't touched those games now for 5+ years. God i feel old  |
