Cool.
Go steam go. Still, upgrade that freagin connection already. It's not enough. I am downloading at 1.55MB from all filehosters, Youtube, AMD, Nvidia and still, around 300k most of the time from Steam, no matter what server I choose. |

We all know that said dictionary is pretty small. Games are reaching the 10GB mark. Said speed would be ok if you had 400k users. Do the math.
I would be really pissed if I would get anything less than 7MByte/sec on my 100MBit line...
I said at several occasions that their service sucks. Bandwidth is only a part of the problem. |

Just one thing Thier pricing on games sucks ..Can buy from play.com or game.uk for Less all the time and thats hardcopy with delivery. Digital should be cheaper with less overheads except Network costs!! still whatever..Have some cake man!! |

Yeah i access steam each day and am one of those quoted 6 million! Except it sits on my taskbar and logs in automaticaly and that's about it! Last time i played something steam-connected was Warhammer about 2-3 months ago? Hell do they just count a 'connection' as a user?? Oh look user blah, blah has just booted up and connected to his account. That's 6 million and 1!!!!

I love Steam but the only time I buy anything on there is when its on sale, if I am paying £30 for a game I like to have a box.
I have a 10mbit line and get full speed most the time, generally only when a new release like L4D2 is out does it lag for me, that's in UK. |
