Cool but I don't see any improvements to the game. I've played HoN and LoL and both are great games. HoN is more like Dota where it's a straight up copy pretty much. It didn't innovate or change certain things or improve upon them. Itemization etc. LoL kept a a nice stylized look made combines simple and seems to have some fun here or there. Game is updated very often with new champions frequently.

Valve hopefully improves the game and changes the way it handles things like combines and etc. I don't play HoN much because LoL seems all around more original to me and fun. Match making is the big thing here as I can get into games pretty fast compared to Hon or Dota. Oh and the community isn't as horrible imo.

wha is "LoL" ? I have just sold my HoN acc. I don't like community one bit, matches for n00bs like me are impossible to find, and if you do find one it's usually meant for either "n00bs" that played HoN for over 5 moths and have good stats or is for n00bs to get smacked around by a locked team of some sadistic "pro" players. In other words - no fun there for someone like me, even if I tried for almost 4 months, first month of bad stats makes impossible for me to join any decent match, and the other ones are just way to hard for me to play.

on the side note, dota 2 isn't going to be free, it's going to be all about paying to valve, less about what you want.
As for better graphics, I honestly hope that they will make it so that everything is visible since split second reflexes are vital to these kind of games. If I can't see that enemy hero has some serious buff going on because of sparkling forest and fairies flying around, then that is BAD graphics, not good Very Happy
You certainly would like to get hit with BloodHunters ulti and not see it due to eye candy graphics. Even HoN is a bit too much in terms of lot's of colors all around...

LoL = League of Legends.

Look it up! Game is F2P but I bought like a champ pack and stuff. I can get matches in under a minute which matters since I have limited play time. It's casual or hardcore depending and what you prefer. The hardcore types usually play ranked matches and create two accounts one for perfect records others for smurfing around.

The community isn't as horrid as HoN or Dota but everyone has bad apples.

Oh and the best part is you can actually make a come back if you had an afker or something and you score on a team fight you can bounce back hard and win games. HoN the problem is after a wee bit you know who is winning and who will lose as any sort of come back is near impossible.
