Why Raven? Are you saying that I can't do what I like with stuff I pay for? I can drop ps3 on someone's head if I want to, sure, I ought to go to jail for that but that's a different mater. If I want to stick a PS3 USB humping dog into it, I as a consumer that payed for a product, should be fully entitled to.

Sony knows this so they are taking it to a higher level - ban the mod chips! They would ban xbox if they could get away with it. It is hurting their sales also.

I say fuck sony. Ban them for being monopolistic. They control the rights to titles and licenses, so they control the market prices of PS3 related products. This leads to Cevat Yeril thinking he should earn one billion $$$ from making one half-decent game and bunch of retarded games like LBP that require users to come up with their own content in order for the product to have any value. And they charge USERS for it instead of other way around...Who would pay ~70$ for GT5 DEMO if people could play it for free? Actually, question is: WOULD it cost ~70$ if sony knew people could pirate it instead of paying it? I don't think so. They'd be lucky if they got 15$ for it...In the end, customers profit from all this. You are getting crappy titles anyway, mod chip or no mod chip, nothing will change on that department except some lowlife scum scam programmers/publishers would back of with pumping out tons of junk titles. EA would be the first.

Well, one thing this "move" from Sony makes clrystal clear, is that they probably aren't able to stop it with a firmware update.
