and you believe in "unhackable" device...It's like believing in Santa Claus. Sony has excellent "damage control" team this time around, they simply buy off anyone that produces any sort of crack/hack before they launch it to market. It's that simple. PS3 has been hacked long time ago, numerous times. Wink

Of course there will be one any day, but with the next "update" you'll probably left with a ps3 that doesn't play ANYTHING at all, and there you'll stand with your copies AND originals. Laughing

well, that's the game Smile But consider that "mod chip" in question here (one from the topic) is a USB device, pull it out and whoila. Besides, you get a mod USB stick, you play copies (pirated games) and don't update the firmware. I am sure (if you look from a perspective of someone that has no moral issues of downloading games without paying) that firmware updates bring much less joy then playing a bunch of games for free Wink

edit: If I owned a PS3, I would have stopped with firmware updates at the point where they removed possibility of using and installing Linux. That or I would have sell it. I hate being bullied by corporate gigants. Taking a feature (advertised feature!) away from me AFTER I purchased a product is plain robbery.

Well, playing ps2 backups isn't really much of a hack, unless you're talking about the Belzar modchip, which was proved to be fake and only announced to spike traffic to a domain name that was later put up for auction. Or are you talking about GeoHot's "hack" which didn't do anything? In any case, you're a dumbass.

well, thank you, that was entertaining Smile I was talking about working 1 to 1 copies copies that actually work, those names you mentioned don't ring a bell. But I can tell you, cracking DRM of PS3 is way easier than cracking assasins creed 2. Dumbass. Lol.

edit: you need to realize that scene doesn't care much about sheep that are willing to shell out money for consoles and overpriced games that can turn out to be crap. By investing in such a thing you are putting your self in "I am willing and ready to pay" group so there is no need for anyone to waste time. Scene is more of a Robin Hood style, you folks are just out of it and none cares about you getting free content. Sheep serve to be shaved. Just go support crap and grow some more wool for shaving Smile

seriously douche, you have no idea what the hacking scene is all about. the people who do it for profit are retarded ass chinese slave mongoloids working in a hardware sweatshop. all the top elite hackers do it for non-profit.
