Black Bean Games announces the official release date for WRC (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), saying the official FIA World Rally Championship videogame is due for release on October 8, 2010.

I hope it comes close to Dirt 2 as far as image quality and gameplay are concerned!

Quite clearly Dirt 2 has it beat, graphically. WRC may be a more serious attempt at a simulation rather than instant gratification and excitement so pushed by Dirt 2. I think it will be decent, but not earth shattering. Remember these guys have just come from making circuit based motorbike games. Expect the sequel, if there is one, to be more refined...
