I think so, it also just looks so brown and grey, wtf is up with their art direction and color palette.

How can they even say shit like that ("looks better" ...blah blah ...."distinct visual identity", did the marketing fool even look at the screenshots this press release was being sent with?
And I can't stand screenshots of games taken from camera shot perspectives that you wouldn't be playing the game with. |

Wow, for once I actually agree with "1" thing you said. I was looking more at the quality of the characters in these shots myself and they look great so far. Be stupid to judge environment at this stage. |

| My first impression is that it looks worse. Maybe they were too eager to release shots and we are just getting very early work, though characters once created, don't change much. The lighting and overall appearance is just crap imo. Lol @ iphone comment. |

| First glance it looks really cheesy. Second take it does seem to be a slight stylized direction they're going. It doesn't appear they are going for that DAO EQ2 real look that more often than not doesn't. |
