exactly they won't drop this one, they will try it on again sometime in the future for sure. Likely after some other organization/company has inched wormed their way into forcing users into it accepting such crap. |

| The pros to having a universal ID across games is the same thing as xbox live and gamertags. It's the same deal really. I can understand why they want to do it. |

Universal ID does not mean that it has to be real.
If you want Universal ID, use OpenID. |

Pretty sure the main reason for wanting real names was to keep behavior to a more socially acceptable norm. |

That's all right, but that's not the message that went through...
I repeat: use OpenID. |

There is nothing more trolling than fragile minded unrighteous cretins who like censorship and real life intimidation to be used a means of quelling any sort of negative response to whatever narrow minded shit they support and believe in.
In the end though, there very own stupid solutions and support they have for such crap will screw up them far better than any 'troll' could have done, don't let a small minority of more aware people stop you |

Yes that's unfortunately true, most are too ignorant to realize what they are throwing away. Practically serving themselves up to be fleeced by those in power to use and abuse the information you've given them.

looks like those idiots at blizztard crAptivision corp are seeing just how things can be used against them, just as it would have happened to their paying customers that they wanted to force into using RealIds or become a silent. Not at all thinking about the customer but merely what would benefit them, one being less critical posts about their services/methods to censor! etc
Interesting to note what was dug up about some of them on what they support and believe in aswel, says a lot about them really. |
