I've been waiting for this a long time. I ran Cinematic Mod 10 but is not the same (cause of the "artistic freedom" the autor put on it) and the achievements are a good excuse to replay these great games.

That is terrific, but how about HL2E3/HL3? It has only been 2.5 years...
BioWare went from ME1 to 2 in 1.5 years while putting out Dragon Age as well.
Even if the graphics have been updated, they are still 2.5 years old.
Do not get me wrong. I have played many games that are 5-10 years old.
I suppose I am slightly bitter towards Valve after not doing what they say they will and then just beat around the bush when asked direct questions.
This a video game, not space travel technology.

Think in Episode 3 a little as Half-Life 3 and not a 4-6-hours episode. Think in years they took to go from HL to HL2. I think they gonna take at least 1 more year or so.

This is one of the best FPS in the history and also one of the best games/franchise out there. Episode 3 is going to conclude the argumental arc that beggins in HL so i dont care if they took a little longer than i was expecting as long as they make a grand finale.

Remeber that Portal 2 is going to finish the introduction of Aperture Labs and the Borealis, so think on it as a prelude to Ep3.

I think... i hope... they are going to gave us a great ending. In Valve we trust.

Also, i dont worry about the looks. Did you see the Cinematic Mod 10 for HL2 and the Episodes? There's a lot of potencial in the Source engine.

Don't hold your breath for HL3. Certainly wont be any new engine for it.
