| the difference is shit, lazy programming. GoW III, Motorstorm pacific rift and from their own stable GTA4 shows what a good programmer can do. |

| It sucks that it's not on PC but then nobody that matters really gives a F about PC anyhow so I'm glad I can enjoy this on console. Looked to me as though some scene's were missing some bump mapping. Looks awesome though! I'd imagine some kind of patch coming to ps3 because the gfx should be equivalent on both. A couple of past games had issues like this that were quickly fixed. |

Yes it's a very good game, but it's not quite sandbox as i thought it would be. I -like i tend to do in wide exploration games- went wandering after starting part of the main story. I found that i encountered quests where i needed a lasso, or when i went into towns couldn't rent a room (for saving), so when i died i was teleported away back to Armadillo. Only after a couple of hours frustration did i continue the 'Bonnie' quests and low and behold the items started to open up
Also, they could have kept the camera mode from GTA4 (taxi) when in trains, coaches. Sooo annoying having a stupid dynamic camera when i wanted to just LOOK out the window etc.
I suspect there will be a lot of DLC for this as there are quite a few areas you cannot reach -bridge not built.
The biggest thing that really PISSES me off is the moron can't even float never mind SWIM!! Even when he's on horseback his stupid nag and him go straight to the bottom of a river (GAME OVER) WTF is that all about?????
Don't tell me i need to buy water wings at the general store!
Yeah, patch is needed just to sort out some game issues first |
