I got an invitation to the beta and tried it out last night. It's 'ok' but nothing incredible. Does it remind me of the old Starcraft? a little but not not much. I only played as Terran. Is it better than Red Alert or the Tiberium or whatever? Well I'd almost think C&C has better gfx and zooming was better. The only problems I really had with the beta was that Battlenet was slow as molases and joining games with people takes a long time. My game sort of freezed twice..I had to end task on it. The interface would just disappear kinda thing. Still very buggy.

Blizzard is offering fully localized versions of the PC real-time strategy game for the South American countries for a suggested retail price of around $25-$30USD. That's about half of what it costs for the standard U.S. version, which Blizzard said would cost $59.99.

I'm from Argentina so that's good news. Well, not for me, I dont play RPGs, but thousdands of fellas do.

There are a few more companies who "localize" the games, Ubisoft and Capcom, for example, Assassins's Creed II costs $ AR 99.90, wich is about $ US 25 against the $ US 64.99 of the "real" import value. Sadly, this is only for the PC, the PS3 version of ACII costs arround $ AR 460 (or $ US 120).

i played sc2 and i haven't had any of the issues you have...its not buggy, your computer is probably having issues. Try updating your drivers!

Oh and if you dont want to keep playing in the beta, i'll happily take the key ^_^ if you don't mind Very Happy

It's the game, I already know that. I know a few people playing it and they said too it's bugs. You download the client and then you spend close to an hour installing patches. My PC runs every game I have perfectly fine. The problems only occur with SC2. As for my key and keys, nah, sorry man but I am giving them to others I know. If you actually do play SC2 then you would have received emails with other keys for your friends. I'd give you details of my PC but you would probably cry in jealousy. Laughing j/k
