Trine -> mediocre. It's a side scroller, wooo. Console game, really not a PC game.
Torchlight -> Story is minimal and game too short but has millions of side missions. Very very repetitive levels and creatures. Was worth the $9.99 I paid for it, but certainly nothing huge at all. Other problems were that leveling up is short lived then you have to turn to mods to break the game and allow you to keep leveling up. What's irritating about Torchlight is the quests are major boring, you go through same looking dungeons, caverns and kill a bad guy.. gets stale after a few nights of playing.
I don't think either of these warrant "Kind of makes me glad I'm still keeping up with PC Gaming.". Trine was released for console, it's really a console game, NOT a PC game. It's mediocre at best. Torchlight does nothing for me in terms of liberating the PC. Dragon Age to me is more something I would use to re-itterate PC gaming. Don't get that comment at all. |
