Don't really care about Gabe or what he does outside of sitting on a chair, but what he does on his chair at Valve helping to create shit like that steaming fucking shitepile, and trying to get away with more and more crap like Left 4 Dead expansion2 and the piss poor developments and crap community development support makes me dislike the tool even more so than the poor out of date tools provided.
I do think they are working on a HL3, a HL2:episode 3, just seems too far behind now. I mean they need a new engine, TF2, L4D and Portal2 are showing they are slowly making improvements to the Source engine and tools used for it. I heard they were expanding office headquarters this year, so I reckon they must be gearing up towards doing pushing development on something bigger than these side projects. Something like they did back with Half Life 2 and CS:S. |
