Pay for the service? LOL! No thanks, I'll stick with steam. Not everyone's favourite but it works well enough for me and it doesn't cost me jack.

Yeah, no kidding. Someone has their head firmly up their ass if they think this is going to work.

I get to pay $15 a month so I can then pay MORE to rent or "buy" the games? Oh, and guess what? When you cancel your $15 a month membership those games you "bought" will be gone or unplayable, guaranteed.

Anybody who pays for this is an utter moron.

Oh well, let them play the original smarty boys, if they once again fall in a pile of shit, there's always the good old piracy they can blame....

Oh, I really miss our friend Koogle, I hope he will soon finish MW2, so he has time to join the discussion again.

I'll wait for more actual details before writing it off. It might have a $15 subscription fee but maybe the games will only be $10 each. You don't know that yet.

I remember from the demonstration video of this, the (game) video stream was very highly compressed, so it might not use huge amounts of data to play. Again, no specific facts are known, so it is worth withholding judgment.

The biggest problem I see is cancelling the subscription and losing access to games you have paid for.

I'm around, MW2 singleplayer? lolwut that takes like a lunch break to complete no? if you filter out the bullshit intros, the crap storyline and skip out the bits where you get shot in the face.

As for OnLive I don't really think you need my opinion on it, I get fucking annoyed with just the delay in ms of LCD input lag especially in fps type games, just can't immagine the shear frustration in playing streaming games (even slower paced ones) over the net and response/feedback delay that comes with net latency.

Its not a bad feature for game demos and publishers to get people to try out there game that way instead of download/installing shit, or watching someone else getting shot up by some noob AI enemies in a video demo while you laugh at there crap consoletarded aim, because no doubt they demo'd the game with a gamepad, but fucked if I'm paying for that service.

They are charging more than a monthly magazine subscription, and at least with that I get some paper to burn and coaster to throw around Razz

roflmao! You are a piece of work man! A damaged piece of work but none the less a piece of work! MW2 has a lot more in single player and co-op modes than just a crappy short story. He isn't playing MW2, he's gone back to playing pacman on his vacuum tube CRT at a million fps.
