stalker 1, broken boring, great idea but felt extremely rushed with the amount of bugs.
stalker 2, so bugged i didn't Finnish it.,
will i waist my money on the 3rd expansion? no i will download it for free for being ripped off on the first to expansions, that's what happens when company's use us as beta testers for there games, we resort to downloading pirated games. [/u]

True, last two were pretty horrendous, first was only adequate after a ridiculous amount of mods to fix the game, second couldn't be saved even with user made fixes, third has try before you buy stamped all over it, I'm through paying for buggy crap.

Ah got to love those contractual obligations, even when your game sucks.

I remember this game when it was first ever discovered. There was like a leaked version. When I tried it I thought it was pretty cool, it looked promising then lots of bs, delays and more delays and then it came out and it was boring crap. I finished the first one, MP sucked bigtime I didn't play it anymore. I haven't seen anything at all to change my mind. It's always been crap. I won't even waste bandwidth getting this.

So, Tom, your reasoning for not bothering with the English release is because of delays? and that it makes the game 'crap' and a 'waste' of bandwidth?

I love how rational you are.

This game is actually pretty awesome. I bought the Russian version and used the English translation community mod.
I have experienced.. oh, one CTD? but only because I was ALT+Tabbing like crazy at one point. They have really listened to the complaints from the last two, even though Clear Sky is actually very enjoyable when you play it fully patched.

With CoP, the HUD is redesigned, more intuitive, they scrapped the pointless faction system, got rid of annoyances like radiated water, put more focus on large and beautifully designed anomaly areas instead of everything being more dispersed and messy. I highly recommend people check this one out.
