Valve has just announced the start of their $25 million (USD) ad campaign for Left 4 Dead 2. Look for print, billboards and online ads along with TV ads during UFC and Monday Night Football telecasts here in the US. Europe will also get a sizable push with TV, print and online ads along with more outdoor advertisements

I'll await the demo as for $25mil ad campaign seems ott, unless they know something we don't ? Could it sequel be more of an addon with new textures, models, maps and mobs ? Or is it offering a new engine with a completely revamped style of gaming ? I very much doubt it hence the reason for the ad campaign, to blind the muppets with bright lights and promises of regular updates, maps, mobs and guns....... yeah right. We won't get fooled again, Obama and his trinkets of HOPE and CHANGE. Instead of dangling these baubles every four years why not go dangle yourself off a pier, it sounds austere sorry for the digression.

why anyone would by that crap is beyond me.

even the weapon handling sucks and thats pretty much the whole game.
