eh just to be clear, battlenet isnt running on your machine, at least it wasent, i doubt that they will create a seperate client for it in the future.
battle net was and is the server provider for diablo, starcraft and warcraft. its where blizzard saves your statistics, ladders, tournaments, or just you characters server side. no client software involved other then the games of course. |

I think its all bs. Nobody wants to publish a game at the same time as CoD:MW2 comes out.
They are just scared to loose money. Unfinished game never stopped those greedy dudes from publishing the game. They would patch it anyway. Just wait and look for yourself. How many patches did the original StarCraft have? 15.10? |

| I'm not getting this hunk of shit anyhow. If gameplay has to go through Battlenet and not just a pure lan they can go fuck themselves. I have a MAJOR HATE going for Blizzard right now. And like someone said here. GREEDY FUCKS. |

tuborg.. battle.net is now a required client.. not how it used to be when you could just start up the and get stuck right in singleplayer/campaign /skirmish /lan etc... and when you wanted to play via internet then you'd go through the battle.net interface... better that way.... its now become retarded where you'll have to start up the client.. forced to wait for whatever crap.. updates...etc etc etc.. all before actually just getting into the fucking game.. by which time you might have just lost fucking interest... basically they're pulling a steaming shit service much like valve.
and my inner starcraft fan has kinda lost interest I mean the gfx of some of the units and buildings and color styles.. hmm bit too cartoonish i prefer the more gritty and less curvy original (for terran anyway)... but that could change... then there is the character voices and bg music.. all of which i've not heard yet.. and gameplay ... an SC update is already long overdue, pulling out lan support, and already announcing its only like 1/3 of the game are some really stupid moves.. specially the later part coming from a company like blizzard.. i guess they thought it was the closest thing to ripping people off for a grind fest like wow... where they can string things out. |
