Sadly it doesn't surprise me that ArmA2 is pretty broken. ArmA1 was a HUGE let down annd required big patches to (try) sort it out.
The SAME bugs that are in ArmA2 -no scripts being triggered, missions ending when you did nothing, where in ArmA1 How on earth it shipped out the door in that state AGAIN is rediculous!!
This time Bohemia may be closing it's doors for good, as i wont be buying ArmA2 and i can imagine how many others wont be either reading this terrible news..
Ok, OFP wasn't without it's problems either(huge comunity input) but Bohemia realy suffered financialy with the loss of the Operation Flashpoint license and the clout that Codemasters had. The game engine is ancient and the first person modeling of the guns etc pi$$ poor! It's clunky controls of the helo's and soldiers are just stuff out of the eighties. (arthritic soldiers lol)
It needs a complete rebuild with a NEW engine and someone who has *played* any decent FPS to sort out the controls. (ArmA2 is more like an expansion -AGAIN!)
Here's hoping that Codies get OFP2 sorted |
