It looks like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developer GSC is apparenlty
considering jumping on the already full MMO genre. Over at the official forums, when asked (in a community Q&A) if there will be a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. online, the reponse was: "If you mean an MMOG, then we are seriously considering it&q

stalker was what the pc shooter world needed... the only thing is we also needed it to be finished lol.. i played it all the way to the end and you can see where they could improve the stalker game to make it that much more better.
i could see stalker as an mmo ONLY if they take there time and dont rush it at all.. combine stalker and oblivion and you have one hell of a game. |

Yeah, kinda sad that even though it was buggy and incomplete STALKER was still one of the best games I've ever played.
If they just did the single player *right* that would be good.
MMO's are never finished though...so that might be the paradise they are looking for. Patch and tweak it forever and never have to worry about getting it *right*.
I'll sit this beside how I feel about a Fallout MMO. No thank you. |

I don't care about rough edges and minor shortcomings as long as the game is unique and delivers where other games don't. There's so much done great I don't really care about bugs (although I did experience lots of them).
Guess after Clear Sky and STALKER 2 (or whatever the name is going to be) GSC will have enough experience to do a game of such scale (MMO I mean). That would be great, because the setting is perfect for an MMO and would certainly stand out from all the fantasy and sci-fi games that are out there. |

| I think they should consider a BOG instead of a MOG for that pathetic attempt in making a game, pure hyperbolloxs indeed. Better still give that money to charity its beneficial and you'll feel better (ppl have more money than sense). |
