Microsoft has just announced that the first downloadable map pack for Bungie's best selling Xbox 360 shooter Halo 3 will be released on Dec. 11.  $10 bucks for 3 maps. Ugh. However, the same map pack will be made available for free in the spring 2008 as a second map pack is release for the game.
