This press release announces that Electronic Arts will acquire BioWare/Pandemic, ent game developer that was formed from the merger of Canadian based BioWare and California-Australia based Pandemic Studios back in November 2005 by venture capital firm Elevation Partner. EA will pay up to $620 million in cash

Ain't that wonderful.
Instead on Mass Effect on PC they'll probably work on "The Sims 2: Sado Maso Studio" and "Need for Speed 548: Gangsta Drift" or something.

Hopefully they will release any games in development, like mass effect, without any EA stuff on or in it, and with some luck Wizards of the Coast will continue granting rights of the Forgotten Realms to Atari and Obsidian.

Rest in peace Bioware - may your emploies will see the light and flee before the shit drowns them.
