The voltage to *any* electrical appliance will never be what it's supposed to be, ie 240V in the UK. It will fluctuate up and down (i've had 247 - 235V at peak times)
Electrical appliances have a certain amount of lee way built into them. The circuitry built into appliances 'iron out' imbalances and also the substations that you get your power from.
MS need some staff training -again
Obviously spikes are the problem, and if you suffer them it wont just take out a games console, but phones, Hi-Fi's for eg AND it will affect a whole area. I've had it happen so i know  |
