hi ya

i have a old system its given buy a friend as a going away present its made up of as follows

intel pentium 3 1ghz
512 mb memory sd
a gforce2 mx 64
ad 2 40 gig hd 7200 baracuda

the thing is whats the best graphics card that i can put into its cause some games really runs slow a friend told me to upgrage my graphics card first cause i use it more often in game ?

try a Radeon 9600.

Nothing is going to improve your situation, you will have bottlenecks on your bus. You have a slow processor and slow memory. 9600 wouldn't be bad but I'd look more for a Geforce 4600..cheaper than a 9600 will be and just as fast.
