What was the point of that Halo comparison vid? I could barely tell the two apart, except for a couple more normal maps and shader effects in H3. I honestly think the only reason console gamers are excited about it is because of the increase in resolution, up from calculator screen size on the xbox to low pc res on the XB360.

So 1920x1080 is low PC res now? I guess i've been playing cs at calculator res then.

Halo can suck a dick, but please find a better way to put it down. Must be nice as a developer to have people practically riot when they can't play your BETA... wtf. At least they aren't making people pay to play the beta, like most other companies these days.

Aside from that... lots of juicy screens and vids. Glad I got a PS3 instead of making another horrible gfx card purchase. It'll only get better from here, whereas a gfx card would only get worse.

PS. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune looks especially nice. DX10 can suck it if they can make DX9 class hardware look that pretty.

I consider 720P low PC res.

Even if it does ship at 1080P they will find some way to sacrifice something else in order to do it. Whatever it is, lower polycounts, lower texture res...It will have to come from somewhere.
