This article is total BS. AGP can/could support DX10. AGP wasn't even fully utilized (thanks to nVidia and ATI crafting their cards in another way). Despite the 2x 4x and 8x agp, we never even barely crossed the limit of 2x, if we did at all!

This was just another marketing tactic, 'maybe if we put 8800 on AGP we can increase profits'. Obviously someone was clued in enough to say 'NOT'.
