Whatever... These guys have abandoned everything they've done. They always made promises they could never keep. When I got Emergence, I thought geez maybe they turned a new leaf. God, how sadly mistaken I was... Thanks to having good friends around I knew not to keep my hopes up for MP (no i didn't give a hoot about episode 2). I knew their regrouping wasn't gonna last and all they did was blow smoke again to their community.
In Sin 1 they banned me from their forums cuz I spoke the truth to the community about how Ritual was abandoning Sin. People flamed me etc and only weeks after I was banned, they/Ritual disappeared and never answered anything in light of Sin 1 and it's followup.
Ritual sucks and now it's proven beyond a doubt that they are totally incompetant. |

"Try to make a good game" is better... eps1 didnt do much... if they had used another engine, and maybe do what they did in the first sin game, they had come up with a good game. |

I did make a game actually and I worked as team lead on 2 other projects before throwing in the towel because of family obligations or just no time. The games I worked to support, won in Make Something Unreal. But true that's just over the past few years? what have you done?

You don't get it do you?? They are quitters and excuse makers and were and always waiting for the buyout since the beginning. Problem is, you have to have something DECENT to get bought out. Ritual has always had nothing but crap or they left their projects in disgrace. I find it more amusing what they've done because it characterizes them well as it is. What I will remember of Ritual was a company that seemed to want to make a game but never could go the full distance to do it. Ritual will always be remembered to me as making promises they could never fulfill. RIP Ritual. |
