Thanks Creative for saying "sh!% off you Audigy users" *sarcasm*
I sincerely hope that they intend to offer this support for the Audgy ZS users. |

Hmm... I dunno if the installer is tied to check for XFI drivers - but since I don't own a Audigy it would work better if someone who owns one could download and try it out. You only need the .dll and .exe for it wrap correctly. |

I believe drivers would have to be hacked to work for anything outside of X Fi. Creative 'does' check the product before installing any drivers. Been doing this for almost 2 years. Audigy ZS users... good luck.. |

It just sucks that they are using such predictable tactics to tempt users into buying new sound hardware purely for Vista. |

Been sighing my way through this week - tons of people have nagged me about Vista after I detailed my experiance with Creatives support for it (I own a Xfi). My usuall happy-go-lucky state of mind is now in a ecplipse into pure rage.
How can a company like this even begin to hope to continue have customers when 90% of the forums posts contain tired flames on the regard of bad support and customer service?
Personally, I would use my integrated (AC850) but I can so blatantly hear the difference in depth and richness of the sound in comparison.
And the scam attempt of rebranded and recolored cards they pulling now? Bah!
... gonna stop this rant now - to tiered... |
