They forgot to mention a few things. Only idiots would put the money towards such a solution considering the 'value' and 'quantity' of games requiring this power/DX10. Typically these people are egotistic jerkoffs or people who don't know the true value of money. Remember, DX10 titles are going to be far and few and though there were promises and quotes like Halo on Vista requiring DX10, you will find that most games coming will still be DX9 and will continue to deliver DX9 titles throughout 2007. Flight Sim requires a patch to go to DX10? Well from my vantage point knowing many that play FS they say it's already stated this patch will never see the light of day or will be so minimal it will do nothing for the game to even warrant some worth.

As well, do not forget that 'finally' nVidia and ATI are being investigated for price fixing. There is a HUGE following behind this and don't be surprised if prices of video cards comes back down to realistic levels. This could be really good for the PC community, don't listen to the jerkoffs saying people are crybabies. These same people are the morons who continue to kill PC gaming because they haven't the foggiest clue and rather swallow down anything given to them. It's these exact idiots that go and get these brandnew cards at unrealistic prices that are killing PC gaming. When you see someone stating, 'I got dual 7900's and I want to go to dual 8800's'. This would be the perfect example of a clueless moron wasting money and filling nVidia's coffers.

I personally have no intention of throwing stupid amounts of money towards ATI and nVidia until this court case is over and there are more than 5-10 titles on store shelves requiring a DX10 accelerator.

If I am going to do anything with my solution, I'm gonna throw another 7600 GT @ $99 in my box. I'ev already tested this a month ago and it actually speeds up my games 10-15fps more.

yeah i got one Smile

it's actually a lot faster with dx9 too (than my old 7800gt), but if you're still playing games @ 1024x768 i guess 2 7600 GT's should be enough.

and sorry for killing pc gaming lol
