Yeah, I'm getting HL2 Episode1. I liked HL2 and well... it costs 5-10 bucks here in Ukraine (piracy prospers here), so why not?

You pay for piracy??! Can't you just download it? I mean when it does come out, it will be flooded everywhere. You can just download... you pay for piracy? When I made cds for friends i never charged a dime. It's just wrong! Sad

There are lots of shops in Ukraine where you simply buy pirated games. I don't know who's tricking who, but some retailers pretend they don't sell pirated cd's, even though they obviously do.
I'll get a copy from a friend, I guess. But if I don't, I'll pay those 5 $ for it.
As for downloading, you've got a good unlimited connection for 19.95, right?
I pay 10$ for 150 Mb with 256 kbps and there aren't any better offers right now. The traffic is too expensive, I'd rather pay Valve than download it Smile

Consider also that most goods like food, average clothes etc are cheaper here, so the real cost of a good connection is even higher.
