As promised, Atari has released a playable demo (local US mirror ~ 752MB) for Act of War: High Treason, allowing you to try out the expansion pack for Eugen Systems' near-future military real-time strategy game. The demo includes missions 9, 10 and 11 of the single-player campaign, one naval combat map

| Has anyone played this?? Just wondering because I always thought it looked decent but people I spoke to that played it said it sucked. If it's decent I could go for another RTS.. |

I liked the first one. Still downloading the demo of this...
Gamershell has a nice ftp interface too it seems. Kept disconnecting from other dl links but thats worked so far. |

| IMHO, it's a direct ripoff of Command and Conquer. Only difference is the different control scheme from C&C, which blows if ur used to C&C. Completely uninteresting. Wait for C&C3, it's surely in the works. |

| Great, bought it, installed up to 1.06 or whatever and the game crashes all the time. I figured I was screwed as soon as I saw the ATI logo and I got an ATI card... sigh. |
