| This is in regards to OEM systems. If you change your mobo on your own PC, non-Dell etc.. then you are fine. If you read the article fully it says that. |

I did read it, and I am in charge of 5 systems running OEM windows in each, none of which were purchased from a company like Dell and all were in fact built by me including 5 separate OEM copies of XP bought at the time of the system components.
If Microsoft thinks its discouraging piracy with these new rules then they can think again I don’t plan on paying for another copy of XP for a system already built with and running it. |
