Obsidian is reportedly ditching Avowed 2 to work on a new Fallout game. As part of Xbox's big reset, developer Josh Sawyer, who worked as lead designer on fan favorite Fallout: New Vegas, will head a team at Obsidian focused on the next Fallout. Tough call. I did like Avowed and I do like New Vegas...

No sympathy for devs that suck consoles.
Let’s go back a few years… Did they do games for consoles prior to dedicated PC. Nope. That’s what happens when you think the grass is greenbacks than the other side.
Imagine ID making its ‘bed’ in Xbox. Why would you think you were ‘safe’ with a cutthroat organisation associated with M$
Of course it’s a generational problem. The ID staff most probably are in their 20’s grew up playing Xbox -so tough.
Gone are dedicated, wiser, PC programmers. |
