I never understand the ‘thick’ business models that companies like the XBox used.
I’m sure plenty of us used Blockbuster etc to rent VHS tapes of films (LoveFilm) and games and then returned them.
The advent of bluray was a monumental jump because the quality was an incentive to buy and for the sound.
Subscription models are dated and prone to collapse, due to fluctuating in/out monthly subscribers. There’s no incentive to ‘own’ games now and therefore to take out a ‘bargain bucket’ pass for a month, is only as good as the ‘carrot’ in the box.
Car ownership is non existent. Again drive about in a flashy car that you will NEVER own in your life, but pay a 4 yr PCP deal and hand it back.
The same mentality is applied to Xbox, PS.
I have a PS3/2 and physical games. I can play it as much as I want. I don’t need an account or signed it either.
Complete and utter greed from people that have no historical background as an adult of owning and treasuring games and manuals..
My mantra has always been.
The price of everything, the value of nothing
This is the world today and if someone invented longer life, I wouldn’t be in that queue. It’s a tiresome world to live in in such a short time it benefits no one but the obscene rich that put nothing back into it other that destroy it. |

I am not tired of life, I am tired of these wankers.
Asha needs to admit she failed. Not knowing the market you are aiming to please is a major problem. You never should have got the job in the first place. It's not your entirely fault though, it's your leader's, too. |
