Popular YouTuber and consumer rights activist Louis Rossmann is threatening to sue Samsung after the company offered him only $330 for a faulty 4TB 990 PRO SSD.
Rossmann sent the drive in for warranty service, but Samsung refused to replace it and instead offered a refund based on the original purchase price

Yep. I would do the same and make it apply to anything.
If your TV, car, whatever breaks, you are not going to get the same thing back, you need to buy a new one. Thus, it is not the original value of the item that should be refunded. |
