Devices that draw this amount of power really need a whole new power supply design. Moving from 12 volts to 48 volts would dramatically lower the current required to deliver the watts. The high current is what necessitates big fat cables.

I mean, 500 watts is what *actual smaller air conditioners* use, and running those off 12 volts is challenging. Doable, but still.

So regardless if it didn’t burst into flames and just failed within its 5 years EU warranty, he didn’t have a leg to stand on.

Rolling Eyes What idiot buys a card that expensive without a warranty. A Chinese man. As bad as the idiot that spent $3000 on one to be sent soap powder.
