Ive been getting told my Samsung Note 9 is a bit old. Still on Android 10 and apps have been cancelled saying my phone is too old and other things not working on it so This might actually get me away from samsung.
I dont like to upgrade every year when the device still works fine. I got the Note 9 about a year after it came out and still working beautiful today. WHY upgrade when it still works?
ok, battery isnt as good as it was but it still works fine. ALL the features of the phone work and some newer phones dont have these features so i dont really want to upgrade and lose them.
Same as my watch. it can do things newer watches cant and I use those features.

But if I need to upgrade then this might be the way. Hope its not flooded with bloatware or spyware.

Dude, I had a Samsung Note 9 for five years and was extremely happy with it. But then the display broke somehow (it gradually started flickering until it was unusable). So three years ago, I bought a Samsung S23 Ultra, and I'm happy with it now. It looks like I'll definitely be keeping it for a while.

FYI, right now, I'm dealing with a client who has a new Samsung Z FOLD 7, and there are obvious problems with applications (Microsoft 365), some mysteries with Wi-Fi, VPN, and the internet in general. It will obviously take some time before Samsung fixes everything.

But otherwise, I find the Z Fold, i.e., the thin foldable phone, absolutely amazing, and I will probably go down this route in the future because I really don't want to carry a laptop with me anymore.

So, I'll probably stick with Samsung for now... but for me, a phone is an office/work tool, I don't use it for games. Otherwise, I would handle it differently.

The iPhone isn't for me, it just doesn't suit me.
