11 bit studios has announced Frostpunk 1886, a new title in the Frostpunk franchise that revisits and expands upon the beloved city-builder and society survival experience of the original Frostpunk, reimagined in Unreal Engine 5. It will launch for PC via Steam in 2027.

Let's hope it's more like the first game and nothing like the trashware called Frostpunk 2.
FYI, there's nothing in the video - just a date: 2027.
There might not even be an Unreal 5 engine by then, and they might loose tons of fans by then, too...
