We’re still in a world which still broadcasts in ether 720 or 1080, other than PPV.
Only Japan broadcasts in 4K and was going into 8K. Why on earth would you be sitting 2ft from a monitor in 8K, when 2k or max 4K (if you want to waste 40% of your GPU rendering it) is plenty enough - besides the bloody cost!!
Never mind thinking of 8K TVs which are the price of cars…..Edit.
Just checked on Amazon and they are ‘giving’ them away, I wonder why, seeing as fuck all plays in 8K 
Just like gaming, the most played resolution is still 1080. |
