• Red Faction hits retail shelves today - The PC version of Red Faction hits retail shelves today in North America!

• Gangsters 2 Patch - The official Gangsters website has posted a, new patches v1.07 (4MB) for Gangsters 2: Vendatta. Download English, French, German, and Italian patches from their ftp.
• GTA3 and Smuggler's Run 2 Delayed - Two interactive announced that GTA3 and Smuggler's Run 2 will be delayed until late October, and that Max Payne (PS2) won't hit store shelves until Q1 2002.

• U.S. planes deployed to 'forward locations' - The U.S. has ordered more military aircraft to move to the Persian Gulf region as soon as Thursday, sources tell CNN. Those aircraft include B-1 bombers, F-15 and F-16 strike aircraft and other support aircraft.

• US to Taleban: Action, Not Talk - The United States has rejected the Taleban offer to negotiate over Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden, saying Washington wants action on the Taleban's part and not negotiations. The White House spokesman said President Bush wants the Taleban to take the actions necessary to no longer harbor terrorists, whatever forms that takes.
