YES YES YES! Max Payne ROCKS! It's really very cool game! I could say it's something between Soldier of Fortune and Duke3D with nice effects ala Matrix :) I love single player
shooters so I'm not disappointed, but very nice surprised that game is so good - honestly I didn't expect it. Unfortunately seems not every shooting maniac can play this game right now :(, I could advice the fastest way how to get this game is trip to Finland :] Well don't fear :P Max Payne is going to be widely available in the US today (places like EB World and Software Etc will have it) and will be pretty much everywhere on Friday. However 3D Realms' George Broussard updated his .plan early this morning to bring some disconcerting news to those of us that pre-ordered Max Payne directly from 3D Realms. What happened? Well I'll let George's .plan do all the explaining. "Please note, though, that these affected pre-orders are ONLY 3D Realms pre-orders. If you pre-ordered from Electronics Botique, GameStop, or any entity OTHER
than 3D Realms, well you probably already have your Max Payne now and don't really care. :)" No comment...In addition SpelletjesGarnaal has recorded an eight minute-long Max Payne movie (Fileplanet
mirror) featuring gameplay of chapter one.

They already included it into the normal retail package tho...
But I do wonder how can a single player only game worth 65CDN or 43US. You probably play it for a week and it will be another trophy for your bedroom... |
