Can't the world get enough of Final Fantasy? The latest episode in the never-ending story racked up pre-orders of 1.4 million copies, with 2.14 million copies selling out on day one of release. Impressive to say the least.
According to reports, Square will begin the English translation as soon as the team members return from sunning themselves on a beach. The task is a big one though, and a U.S. release is looking like the end of the year – or possibly even early 2002.
