The Tokyo Game Show occupied three different sections of the monolithic Nippon Convention Center. Microsoft's Xbox proved to be the focus of its exhibition hall. The introduction of the console was high on flash, and gained the audience's attention. As frenzied music pounded out of the speakers, four leather-clad female dancers strutted onto a platform. After ample demonstration of their talents, an announcer in a snakeskin suit appeared center-stage and kindly introduced the Xbox to the audience, going over its advantages point-by-point.
