 IGN has learned that the Microsoft booth will be putting an elephantine emphasis on broadband connectivity, with large amounts of signage highlighting the system’s ability to connect to the outside world. While few details were given regarding the actual usage of broadband, Microsoft was showing off two types of broadband adapters. Xbox users will be able to select from either ADSL or Optical Broadband models, which come in black and gray, respectively. The Optical model is marked with a 10 Mbps upload/download speed, and both bear colored lights for Power, Fiber, LAN, and Alarm.
