   The title is due for release this October and looks to be much more story based than previous games in the franchise. The biggest change to the game's style is that it is now played out in total 3D. New vehicles include boats, helicopters and even airplanes, and the player again has total freedom to travel anywhere on the map. Most of the game will take place in Liberty City, which consists of three districts – Industrial, Commercial, and Suburban. These will be the three levels of gameplay and bridges and tunnels connect them. An Xbox version is also in the works, but it is not yet known if it will be a port of the PS2 version or a standalone title.
