 GameSpy has posted a new preview of Outlive,the upcoming RTS game. "Outlive takes place in the beginning of the 21st century all right, but the planet is far from Asimov's apocryphal utopia. It's more like the world of the Lost in Space movie where a desperate civilization searches the heavens for a world rich in resources that can be plundered in order to save the race that so careless squandered the wealth of it's own planet. The manifestation of our salvation comes in the form of the World Council, an amalgamation of the most powerful governments and financial institutions. Anyone who has played any RTS in the last two years will be instantly familiar with Outlive. In fact, the learning curve for gameplay consists of nothing more than looking at the build trees for each side. And even that point is severely mitigated by a very cool feature of the Research Lab (Tech Center for the Robot side) structure."
