| Comments from joey joejoe | posted - 08:30 AM CEST - May,21 2004 | | once you see a nitro gauge and lambos jumping massive gaps in roads you can safely assume this is aimed at 14 yr olds and there ps2's
i have one word for game developers..
Simubloodylation | |
| Comments from maga | posted - 11:42 AM CEST - May,21 2004 | | i disagree, people need arcade racers, the best example is Need for Speed 2 (wich i played to the death),or even NFS:HP 2 | |
| Comments from 4ed | posted - 06:38 PM CEST - May,21 2004 | | I simultaneously disagree and agree with you, joey. Nowadays people are already tired with arcade racers except if you're not old enough. But what you said about "14 yr olds and there ps2's" sounds like you're saying that PS2's are for kiddies that only love arcade games. But on the contrary, we (PC Gamers) are would really love to hear a PC release of Gran Turismo Series which are only available in PS2 at the moment. | |
| Comments from Tom | posted - 11:23 PM CEST - May,21 2004 | | ya these games are fun and great with 4 people. this game looks like everything EA should have done as a followup. I'm getting this on day 1. | |
| Comments from Jared | posted - 02:12 AM CEST - May,22 2004 | | I agree with you Tom this game does look cool and I might get it,
I think that the Nascar, F1, CART, NHRA, etc. games should be simulation racers but games like Need For Speed should be Arcade.
And they need to port Midtown Madness 3 to PC and they need to make a Motocross Madness 3.
| Comments from joey joejoe | posted - 08:17 AM CEST - May,22 2004 | | only if the pc version of gran turismo had a decent damage model.
its still very arcady if on the last lap you can just shunt the car in front of u off the track and win.
i dont mind arcade games, but lamborginis have wings and spoilers, so they still should not be seen flying across 100m missing sections of highway. i think difference is this game looks a little like fantasy land than aracde land
| Comments from Sniper Wolf | posted - 03:11 AM CEST - May,23 2004 | | Actually the game looks cool but I dont think the graphics will live up to beat NFS and Gran Turismo | |
