Far Cry Instincts Announced - console

Ubisoft sent out a press release annoucing that its Montreal Studio is currently producing Far Cry Instincts, console versions based on the recently released, tropical PC first-person shooter. The console version will be an entirely new game built from the ground up using the most advanced technology Far Cry fans have come to expect.
Just as Far Cry redefined the FPS genre on the PC, Far Cry Instincts will introduce wide open environments and unique, immersive gameplay elements that are destined to become the definition of survival action. In addition to the PC version's signature locations, non-scripted A.I., and unprecedented view-distance, Far Cry Instincts will feature brand new gameplay scenarios that will challenge players to use an even broader range of strategies and survival tactics in order to uncover the many secrets within the beautiful-but-deadly islands.

So when are they going to do the same thing for the PC? So good graphics in Farcry deem it as an excellent game? Ya....ok. Well from the stores I frequent for games, Farcry ain't moving. I'll buy it later but from a popularity or 'i need it' anology, Farcry is not it. But nice soliciting Ubisoft. |

It does have multiplayer, but I haven't tried that yet. Not sure about this new consol version....me thinks that consoles don't have the power to pull the kinda graphics in the original (maybe X-Box...) |

Who cares about FPS on a CONSOLE!?!?!?! really if you aint have a moue and a keyboard you are screwed! |
