A new WHQL Forceware graphics
drivers
v56.72 are available for download from
the
official NVIDIA download page. This new version adds support for GeForce
5700, GeForce 5700 Ultra and OpenGL 1.5, NVIDIA nView 3.5, Advanced Microsoft
Internet Explorer popup blocker, Multi-display technology, improves HDTV Y Pr Pb
component out support for 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i formats. The complete list

Issues Resolved in Version 56.72
* GeForce FX 5200/FX5900/FX5950 Ultra, Windows XP: Far Cry (Patch 3) water is rendered incorrectly.
* GeForce FX 5200/FX 5600, Windows XP: Star Wars
Galaxies performance is poor.
* Windows XP: Presentation Director eight-bit test screen is not displayed
correctly.
* GeForce FX 5200/FX 5900/FX 5950 Ultra, Windows XP: "Play On My TV " option
within the NVIDIA panel is not available when playing a media file.
* Windows XP: OpenGL viewperf crashes or is extremely slow if the Physical
Address Extension boot option is enabled.
* Gameprofiles: Name of the .exe for Return to Castle Wolfenstein profile is
wrong.
* Apocalyptica crashes when 3D stereo is activated and then deactivated.
* GeForce FX 5950 Ultra, Windows XP: In the game Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow,
white flashes occur on a character with antialiasing enabled.
* GeForce FX 5950 Ultra,Windows XP: Fogging effect is not applied to distant
trees in the game Far Cry.

I dont just say this like most of the people do, I say this because I always bought GeForce in the past up until I bought a brand new pc about a year ago for the perpose of playing the top games on all the high performance. at the time I bought GeForce4 ti 4600, I'v tryed playing the top games like splinter cell and Unreal2 I was shocked that it laged my ass off. so then I retorned that card back and exchange it for ATI Radion 9700 pro and gess what all thes games went smooth no lag what so ever. now I never go back to Geforce again even though ATI got some shity drivers (witch is true).
and as for this comment "i say reply when ur balls drop" dude can u explain me What the fuck is that supose to meen??? and also I never said a bad things about any one in here the only thing I said was my opinion about GeForce, now a fagot like u starts to flam me. for what??? |
